Video Tour of a 1-Bedroom Furnished Apartment on rue Tiquetonne, Paris


Hello and welcome to another New York Habitat furnished apartment video tour. Today we will be visiting a lovely 1 bedroom apartment located in a great neighborhood, not far from the George Pompidou Center in the 2nd district of Paris. Passing through a small courtyard, this apartment is located on the 2nd floor (3rd floor US). The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need to prepare meals at home during your stay in Paris, including a microwave. Of course dishware and utensils are provided. The furnished living room is equipped with a TV. The large windows in this room bring lots of natural light to the space. Wifi Internet access is also available. The furnished bedroom is equipped with a double size bed. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and shower. Now that we have seen this great apartment, let’s go see what the neighborhood has to offer. Not far from the apartment is the lively and dynamic rue Montorgueil. This pedestrian street is full of cafés, bakeries, as well as a number of fruit and vegetable stands and specialty shops, giving you the perfect place to do your grocery shopping for cooking in you fully equipped kitchen. Built in the early 15th century, the Jean Sans Peur Tower is the only fortified medieval tower in Paris. With its gothic style, spiral staircase and vaulted stairwell, this tower will definitely take you back in time. With its modern architecture, you can’t miss the George Pompidou Center. The George Pompidou Center houses the largest modern art museum in all of Europe and has seen over 150 million visitors since opening in 1977.
