Video Tour of a 1-bedroom Furnished Apartment in Montparnasse, Paris
Hello and welcome to another New York Habitat furnished apartment video tour. Our tour today takes us to a lovely one bedroom apartment located in the neighborhood of Montparnasse, in the 15th district of Paris. This apartment is located on the 2nd floor (3rd floor US) of an elevator building. Upon entering the apartment, you will find the living room to your right. This furnished living room is equipped with a TV and a dining table with chairs. The large windows in this room bring lots of natural light to the space. Just next to the living room is the kitchen. This fully equipped kitchen has everything you will need to prepare meals during your stay, including a microwave. Of course dishware and utensils are provided. Next is the bathroom. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and shower. You will also find a washing machine at your disposal. As in most French apartments, the toilet is separate. Lastly, is the bedroom. This furnished bedroom is equipped with a double size bed. Now that we have seen this great apartment, let’s go visit the surrounding neighborhood ! The Bourdelle Art Museum preserves the once home and workshop of Antoine Bourdelle, former assistant to famous sculptor Rodin. The museum today contains more than 500 works of art including Bourdelle’s personal collection. With its greenery and garden like feel, le chemin du Montparnasse is a peaceful place in the heart of the city. Along each side of this small alley way, you will find the former workshops of some of Paris’ most famous artists, such as Picasso, Braque, and Matisse. At the time of its construction in 1969, the Montparnasse Tower was the tallest skyscraper in the city. It offers one of the most beautiful views of Paris.
