STUPID-EASY SNOWPLOWING for Rural Property, Driveways & Snowpocalypses

(who was on the phone) Our friends that accept shipments for us. We have a problem it’s snowing outside, our trailer is buried in snow and we got to be there like pronto soo [music] haha you are going to have to get taller boots dude Brah brah like this, this is too deep it is too deep brah. The answer if you’re asking is that stuff heavy is yes alright alright here we go ready so it is a bit ironic that we’re trying to go get a snowplow and our driveway needs plowed guess one last hoorah with the snow scoop and this snow is the kind you want to plow not scoop how is it going down here. Ughh plowing wet snow sucks. you kind of just have that like soggy look about you know there’s that chance that if the plows the wrong color we’re going to send it back should we tell them our devious plan yet or making them wait I don’t know, I think we should make them wait a little bit, just a little longer look for the huge boxes. what does a snow plow in a box look like hey there it is, I see it, its over there. I’m going to zoom in on this. Its over there looks pretty big, oh its not that big I didn’t realize this was soo big [Music] alright give them our gift. Our token of appreciation. We appreciate it, awesome. Has been received. Soo time to get this installed and plow the rest of our driveway today right? oh I wish, we are still waiting on the hitch I think that should come tomorrow. I think tomorrow. hopefully tomorrow this might be our last time driving up a driveway that we plowed by hand [music] is this where we leave the snow plows until we can proceed with the plan. Yes but I want to plow today today I know right. I guess we leave you guys hanging for a moment until the hitch arrives [Music] right hitch is in the bag. What ya working on? I’m on wiki how trying to figure out how to make a bow out of 10 yards of ribbon so she doesn’t like you I’m gonna be on the picture ladies we’ve decided to have a boat competition and compare what’s a nice bowling skills thing is as a man i’m risking a lot here because even if i win kind of it’s sort of lose you know anything we do snow pop Sophia natomas yeah hit it first we have to load the plow second load the button we have to load the boat feel like the plan is getting really complicated so what are you working on now Jason’s presence is pseudo present its a decoy president/ceo here you know it’s all playing out in my head I mean it still is backfiring Jason’s already suspicious because this one time going to keeping secrets so Jason if you’re so good at surprises most of the bus yeah well you know that power bank or something else next haha it’s like those kids books that you have to open the way they look if you scratch it it’s not like evergreen way I have to put shoes on and grab a snowplow are you are you serious that’s amazing it’s yeah it’s because you said you could look good that’s really cool it’s a full meijer home while yeah it’s a gorgeous yeah recitations little more task for you yes you have to decide who made which bone which books that ok i’m showing that one looks better face with this one looks like an overachiever I’m going alyssa Jesse like snowplow surprise determined to like eight hours of parking will suppose i’m heading back in the morning to test fit the hips and doing it yes when the list that i received the wow we bought you know we do need a while would be nice to have one more like how can we make this Wow produced more four more people we want to share and help other people but we also received the joy of giving so it’s a very much a win-win situation doesn’t fridge heightens the platen so one night thing about the home flower is that it’s super easy to install as long as you can find a factory or aftermarket front class three 2 inch receiver hitch which we scored for their truck I just look at our local auto parts store and get some 400 $200 so and it looks like it’s a direct bolt-on we’re going to make kelsey tried out friends again without in my dream hi can you take my freedom is no class 60 right well we can stop taking their day and thing to do something more productive and we print this message to refer to snow and now we wait no knowing it guess what we woke up to almost an entire foot of snow and this pretty much only means one thing I’ll be honest if he wants to know if you were having the urge to put all the birds on the way here i have a couple of times like I’m going to put it down yeah absolutely I’m going to go out there the way and i’m going to try to put you on the spot where you can actually fill your debt 141 years good Jason just demolished the driveway like really i missin ya always part 1 does see this craft or drowned there were expletive I couldn’t tell which way i was going to I didn’t even break a prop that I know it doesn’t look well we’ve already been breaking all the drone rules anyway so that one very important feature remember yes the off button what happens when we don’t press the off button when you don’t press the off button you come back to your truck two days later to it that it was the field looks to New York but no but I mean other than a few scratches I mean and I hit something for I gotta admit I didn’t think pretty solid yeah you cleaned up a year’s worth of snow right that’s not one storm that know what does that mean what that you realizing that ok great the bank is too big for the backup bringing up a little bit push the top / I was walking out first on that thing and you’re here you’re getting the whole truck Simeon on that thing and take it stated by the founding yeah I feel like yeah watching with the controls to they seem kind of spongy like not precise it’s more like a horse on it and get it where you need to get in there and sometimes it felt like you had to be very purposeful a try what good with a bow on it sure does so how hard would you say this was to install compared with what you thought if I would have just seen this as is i would have thought I couldn’t do it yeah yeah it was really simplistic and even thinking about this and some things you put it on and you’re already dreading taking it back off this is the i already but all great drop the wheel take it off volt volt bolts done I can’t argue that now yeah the trip board definitely works i’m impressed that was one of my biggest concerns because so it’s a it’s got a trip system on it so that if you hit something with the lip it doesn’t damage the flower just flip the plow forward this is a to spring system and I think that’s real similar to professional flowers they don’t have one they have to and I think it matters because it helps even that force out and I think the wired controllers nice side and they know they offer a wireless version but I just my brain doesn’t quite add up for and that’s that then you’re not sitting in your home change the TV channel I mean you’re out now and it’s cold work you’re getting it done you want to what you want something wired I think that was probably at least a foot deep because I mean anyway yeah yeah they’ll hold up to the top of my boot yes thanks for coming squared is yeah you see you’re flying the ground yeah so the real bummer about the whole snow blessing is it doesn’t allow everything yes still got a shovel is not in the advertisement yourself also proposed thanks again for your help days one ok my god now what you ever feel like after the Super’s like back to life you know it’s like glue great anyways flout little spot right here by the door that’d be good yeah we probably need to dig up the truck to me they’re walking past and are walking fast without sub just know i really put into perspective that’s how much snow it can move at once right and how much work it is to just scoop not done snowing yet they’re forecasting another five to seven inches in the next 48 hours so we may get more snow in three days that we’ve had all year just from this one storm so because they’re going to ask him as well to do a quick update they want to know if the dose advice yes the answer is yes didn’t even damaged a prop somewhere in there so what about this hey that right there looks like so I really want to go back to the month

And I would have never believed a lil' home plow could do that.
If Meyer gave you that plow, they're brillliant because that was better than any ad I've seen recently.
On top of that I've always had Western pro plows but I would totally get one of these. but I really want one for my Subaru!

A meyer home plow? are you people stupid? Meyer plows in general are junk, trust me I have one I have had to rebuild a few times but it wasn't a chap assed home plow. Get a real plow. no lights, no power angle, not worth a bucket of horse piss.

I have a 1/2 a mile long driveway. Technically shared but it has to be plowed. One of the other property owners has one of their guys plow it including our parking portion of the driveway. I want to get a plow for my truck to help keep up with it

Mar 3, 2017, 12:55 am Reply

This a bigger version of an atv plow. Not going to hold up well on a full size truck. And why put chains on a 4×4 truck?? And yes most "professional plows" have more than 2 springs, usually 3-4.

That push plow would be nothing for me, try shoveling 24 ft of snow that you can barely walk through, or shoveling your car which is a sports car that is buried in snow. Now that I seen that hand plow, I'd rather that than a loader

I have a Myers snow plow on my XJ Jeep 6 foot wide, only it's not the hitch mount type like you have, it's a frame mounted under the jeep on to it's frame. It's not the easiest thing to put on and take off, however once I put the frame with the head lights and pump on the front of the jeep, putting the plow on takes a bit of grunting to get both lower pins in but is not to bad. I think Western has a "drive into" plow hookup so it's really easy, but I think a Myers plow has a much better blade. My plow installed weighs 400 lbs, I had to put heavier springs on my Jeep because I could not install air bags on that kind of suspension. The down side, if there is no trailer on or the plow is not on the ride is rough due to the lightness of the jeep. But I would sooner have a rough ride and sit up then I would have a sagging body like it was with factory springs. I plow my drive way and parking lot and I plow the neighbor's drive way for free, just to be neighborly. My Jeep will push a foot of snow on level ground in 4×4 without having to put chains on. During heavy snows, I plow a few times during the storm so It don't get to keep for my Jeep. Plows are great for wet snows that are not too deep because snow blowers often clog up in wet snow. But in deep powdery snow, I'd rather a snow blower, except for the part of being outside in the cold. A tractor with a cab and bucket on the front and snow blower on the back is the ticket, but you're talking about a unit worth around $35,000.00 to $65,000.00 new.

Hi there, Owen Anderson here from Tacoma, WA. To save the headache and back ache of plowing the snow, there's something people have done in the past. They make a copper piping coil (worm) which goes around the base of their heating stove, oil furnace, etc. then they run discharge pipe underground (4", 3") in their walking path. The pipes are charged with water, is charged with 10% rubbing alcohol, 90% tap water. The end result is melted snow because of 42* ground above the pipe. My grandfather did this so my grandmother would never slip while walking to her vehicle back in the 1950's–1990's. I love what you're doing, your videos are awesome, and you are inspiring me to do something similar!
