Skinner House Books Author Spotlight Interview: Susan Katz Miller

(gentle upbeat music) – Skinner House came to me and asked me to think about writing a book for interfaith families, both in the UU world and
outside the UU world. And I had actually been
thinking about writing a journal, a workbook,
for interfaith families. So, I was very excited about this idea. We have more and more families that are crossing religious boundaries, marrying across lines of denomination, across lines of faith. And they haven’t always
had a lot of support, a lot of resources. And “The Interfaith Family Journal” works for any and all family, really, to figure out how they wanna celebrate, where they wanna celebrate, how to honor multiple religious heritages. And it includes writing
prompts and creative exercises that, really, any family
could benefit from, could get support from. (gentle upbeat music)
