Not sure but that sounds like less than 60 days notice
Just leave the apartment tenants alone; the buildings are so old and should not, and I mean, NOT be upgraded at all. If this trend continues, the State is going to have to start cracking down on all apartment landlords and demand that there are no upgrades of any kind whatsoever for their property. If not, then the Governor is going to step in and start arresting these landlords and their employees, and put them away for life in a super top-secret ultramax federal prison site.
This story broke my heart. I'm a veteran myself and to know that a man who risked his life for everyone of us is going to have to live on the street is unacceptable. The older lady said she looked at the notice and said she might as well commit suicide because she has no where to go. This has to stop. Most Americans are one paycheck away from a friend's couch or the street. This could be anyone of us who rents a dwelling.
They own it so… they can do what they'd like. Sounds pretty straight forward.
This is beyond wrong.
Sounds like a poor planning on the tenants part.
Ok change of ownership but why do renovations when its starting to get cold outside. Wooooow
This is terrible for those tenants. While I understand that these building may need renovation, it’s really awful for the residents. I have lived in Sac for a few years now, renting apartments. Every time a new management team comes in, it spells trouble for the tenants. Every single time. I lived at the 1100 on Howe. After living there a few months, the owners were bought out. The new owners came in and were THE worst! They wanted us out SO badly in order to raise our rent. Completely discriminated against my wife and I due to her being a double amputee. I’m so sorry for these folks. I hope they find better housing. It’s a damned shame that the bottom line rules over people. $400 rent increase. Criminal.
Way to go Democrats! Why do we keep voting them in again?
Anyone can have difficulties. And everything requires work its hard for the people who live there when rent is too much.
