New York Habitat Video Visit Vacation Rental Rue Mouffetard Mouffetard – Paris, France Hello and welcome to another New York Habitat vacation rental video tour. Our tour today takes us to a small studio apartment located on rue Mouffetard in the 5th district of Paris. This vacation rental is located in the gorgeous neighborhood called “Jardin des Plantes.” Entering through a small charming courtyard, this studio apartment is located on the 3rd floor (4th floor in the US) of a 17th century walk-up building. Upon entering the apartment, you will find the kitchen. This American style kitchen is equipped with a sink, a refrigerator, a stove top, a microwave, a dishwasher and all the necessities for cooking. The main living space is equipped with a folding table, a desk with a phone, a TV and a storage chest that can also serve as seating. The double Murphy bed is very practical for this studio as it can be hidden away in the day, creating more space in the living area. With its exposed medieval beams and view of the beautiful church Saint Médard and the picturesque rue Mouffetard, this small studio has big charm. This vacation rental found in the heart of the city is ideal for a couple staying in Paris. Now let’s go visit the surrounding neighborhoods. Just next to the studio is the église Saint Médard. This church with its charming shaded garden, dates back to the 15th century. The rue Mouffetard is one of the most picturesque streets in Paris. With its abundance of fruit stands, wine and cheese shops, this is the perfect place to do your grocery shopping, stocking up your fully equipped kitchen while you discover all the flavors of France. Just a few streets away from the apartment, you can’t miss the Grande Mosquée de Paris. Built in 1926, this is the largest Mosque in France. With its mudéjar style and its minaret at 33 meters (108 ft.) high, it’s a must see! Created in 1626, The Jardin des Plantes is an amazing garden in the heart of Paris. Open to the public since 1640, you can come to this garden to just relax, take a stroll or visit the beautiful greenhouses and botanical gardens. The Muséum national d’histoire naturelle is located inside the Jardin des Plantes. This museum of natural history is divided into four galleries, the largest of which is dedicated to the history of evolution. This gallery is permanent and even offers workshops to the public. @cocoapeach Thank you! The one thing we didn't tell in the video though is the fact that we couldn't resist and had to stop at the Grande Mosque of paris to get some oriental pastries 😉
