Paris, France – Video tour of a Studio Apartment on Rue Lamarck in Montmartre
Hello and welcome to another New York Habitat furnished apartment video tour. Our tour today takes us to a great studio apartment near the Sacré-Cœur, located in a village-like neighborhood known as, Montmarte. This apartment is located on the 4th floor (5th floor in the US) of an elevator building. Upon entering the apartment, you will find yourself in the main living area. This furnished living area is equipped with double sized bed and a TV. The large window in this room not only brings in natural light to the space but has an amazing view of the Basilica of the Sacré-Cœur. Wifi internet access is also available throughout the apartment. On the other side of the apartment is the kitchen. This American style kitchen has all amenities needed for preparing meals, including a microwave and a coffee maker. You will also find a folding table in the kitchen area. Near the kitchen you will find the bathroom. The bathroom is equipped with a shower. As in most French apartments, the toilet is separate. Now that we have seen the apartment, let’s head out and see what the neighborhood of Montmarte has to offer! The Sacré-Cœur is the located at the summit of the butte Montmarte. This roman-catholic church stands at the highest point of the city offering a fabulous panoramic view of Paris. The Lapin Agile is a famous cabaret in the heart of Montmarte. A favorite spot for struggling artists over the years, it became known worldwide with the help of Picasso’s painting, “At the Lapin Agile.” Just a few streets from the Sacré-Cœur is the Place du Terte. This square is very lively and dynamic with its many artists and restaurants.
