@7starwish Hey, thanks for the comment. One of the best part is the location: in the heart of Upper West Side and next to Central Park, across from the Metropolitan Museum and near the Museum of Natural History.

How much of that rent is for the furnishings about $1300 of that per month. One bedroom only? How can anyone have a room mate? Is this brand new or something? I am going to write a series and articles that will apply to all USA citzens on how to live inexpensively in any city. I put in small apartment in New York and this is what I came up with. Your minuim wage in New York must be pretty high?

@InspiredMuse74 Thanks for your comment! It is true that housing in New York can get very expensive. A smart way to save money is to share an apartment with one or several roommates. We do offer many roommate share apartments in New York City as well!

@noodlesmadison The apartment is clean, no worries 🙂 Our quality control department makes sure that any problem during a rental is reported and solved before we rent out an apartment. Bedbugs are a real problem in NYC but so far we've been very lucky!

This is probably really expensive because even a shitty apartment in nyc is like 1K plus for one bedroom.

LOL @ InspiredMuse74 – people making minimum wage working at McDonalds aren't living in luxury apartments on the UWS – they live in dangerous neighborhoods in the Bronx or Brooklyn in rat and roach infested projects and tenements.  If you're fiscally responsible, you won't even consider living in an apartment in Manhattan unless you're pulling in at least $150k a year.  Sure you can survive on less in the city but you won't be saving much or spending on much else besides rent.  Manhattan below 110th street is for the rich, not people making minimum wage or even $150k because eventually they'll be priced out with the huge rent increases every year.

Lord, I'd hate to see how much the rent is in NYC. I could rent that exact apartment in Logan, WV for $400-$450 per month, w/$200 security deposit down.
