New York City – Video tour of a Furnished Studio Apartment, Midtown East (26th Street & 2nd Avenue)
Hello and welcome to another New York Habitat apartment visit. Today we are going to take you on a tour of a great furnished studio apartment at E 26th St and 2nd Ave, which is located in Midtown East, a great neighborhood in New York City. You’ll find places for shopping, fine restaurants and bars. These make Midtown East a welcoming neighborhood in which to live. This fully furnished studio apartment is on the 2nd floor of a pre-war walk up building it’s equipped with an intercom buzzer and is air conditioned. Let’s check it out When you enter the apartment you’ll see a hallway which leads to the living area. The hallway features wood floors and an exposed brick wall. There is closet space in the in the hallway area as well. The small kitchen is to the right in the hallway area. It’s equipped with a gas stove, refrigerator, a coffee maker, a microwave and of course dishware and utensils are provided for cooking just like at home. Off the kitchen you’ll find a bathroom which is standard with white tiled walls. There is a sink, a mirror a bathtub with a shower and a towel hanger on the sliding doors of the bathtub. Next to the bathroom you’ll find the living area. It’s equipped with a sofa and a coffee table. There are two large windows as well as decorative picture frames to make you feel at home. Facing the sofa there is a flat screen TV with cable providing entertainment for nights in. There is also a wooden table a chair and a lamp tucked into the corner of the living area. Of course, being a studio apartment this is also where you’ll find the bed. It’s a queen sized bed with sheets and pillows provided. There is a small exterior garden with a table and chairs that will be accessible to you and other tenants of the building. Now that we’ve checked out the apartment, let’s see what the neighborhood has to offer. Midtown East is a great neighborhood in Manhattan. There are many attractions in the area. You’ll find beautiful and famous buildings, shops, supermarkets and restaurants nearby. On Broadway at 23rd St and Fifth Ave, there is Madison Square Park. It’s one of New York’s most beloved open spaces. If you don’t mind waiting in line, be sure to grab a burger and fries at the famous Shake Shack located in the park. Close to the park you’ll find the Flat Iron Building, famous for its triangular shape. It was once one of the tallest buildings in New York. The Empire State Building is within walking distance from the apartment. For a fee you can head to the top to take in one of the best views of New York City.
