New York City – Video tour of a furnished loft apartment on West 27th Street (Chelsea – Manhattan)


New York Habitat – Video Visit – Furnished Apartment West 27th St and 6th Ave Chelsea – Manhattan, NY Hello and welcome to another New York Habitat furnished apartment video tour. Today we’re going to show you a fantastic furnished studio loft apartment at 27th Street and 6th Avenue located in the neighborhood of Chelsea, in Manhattan, New York. Let’s check it out. This furnished studio apartment is located on the 12th floor of an elevator building where residents use their own key to enter the building. The apartment features wood floors and many decorative paintings on the walls. As you enter the apartment, you’ll find yourself in a spacious living area. It’s furnished with 3 comfortable sofas, a glass coffee table and a dining table with chairs. The 6 large windows in this apartment not only bring in natural light to this studio but also give you a view of the Empire State Building and the surrounding neighborhood. Off the living room, you’ll find the open kitchen. It’s fully equipped with all amenities you need for cooking meals in this apartment such as a gas cooking range, a sink, an oven, a refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee maker and a toaster. There is plenty of dishware provided as well as a dishwasher. There’s also a table with 2 chairs situated in the kitchen area. Close to the kitchen, you’ll find the bathroom. It’s furnished with a sink, a mirror and towel racks. The shower’s lined with white tiled walls. There is also a wooden towel shelf with towels in this bathroom. Another convenient feature of this apartment is the laundry area found next to the bathroom. It’s equipped with a washer and dryer. The next area, called Living Room 2 on our website, is set up as a sleep area. This room has no window. It’s furnished with a queen sized bed, pillows, sheets and bedside tables with lamps. There’s a chair, a ceiling fan and a closet for hanging clothes. An interesting thing about this room is the large skylight giving the room unique style. You’ll also find a private bathroom in this Living Room too. It has white tiled walls and floors and is furnished with a bathroom vanity set. There’s a toilet, a sink, a mirror, a shower with a bathtub and a vanity dresser. The final living area is Living Room 3. Here you’ll find a large space which could be set up as another sleep area. It’s furnished with a queen size sofa bed a queen size Murphy bed that can be folded into the wall during the day to add extra space in the room. There are 5 large windows allowing light to the room. You’ll find a sofa with a table, chairs, shelves lined with books, drawers, and a TV with cable. Heading outside, you’ll find yourself in the middle of Manhattan, New York. Let’s explore the surrounding neighborhood. This furnished studio loft apartment is located in Chelsea, Manhattan, a great neighborhood where you’ll find plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, grocery stores, convenient subway connections and public bus services throughout the area. Less than a block from the apartment, you’ll find the Fashion Institute of Technology. It’s a college of art, business, design and technology of the State University of New York City. Established in 1944, the campus contains 9 buildings housing the various classrooms, studios, workshops and galleries. Stroll to Madison Square Park and stop by the famous Shake Shack, a restaurant serving delicious hamburgers, hot dogs, French fries, milkshakes and even beer and wine. Madison Square Park offers a great spot to relax and take in amazing views of the New York buildings surrounding the park. From the park you’ll see one of New York’s most famous buildings, the Flatiron Building. While fairly small by today’s New York standard, this landmark building was once one of the tallest skyscrapers in New York City. It was named Flatiron Building because of its triangular shape and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. Greeley Square is a triangular shaped park located between 32nd and 33rd Street and 6th Avenue. This charming park contains a statue of Horace Greeley, the publisher of the New York Tribune. You’ll also find a restaurant and tables with chairs, creating a surreal oasis in the middle of one of the busiest areas of Manhattan. Greeley Square is surrounded by major shopping stores so you’ll lose yourself in the numerous shops throughout the area, not the least of which, the massive Macys department store. Bedrooms w/o egress windows? isn't that illegal in NYC? How can they get away with that kind of serious violation?
