I like to live in central Helsinki Hello and welcome to our home in Helsinki I was actually about to do this video in Spanish as part of my Spanish challenge but then I
realized that my Spanish is getting even worse than it was before I started
the challenge hello and welcome to my house or my apartment, it’s not a big house or anything It’s a bit dark here in the entrance because we only got one lamp that is not a very good one Starting from the entrance also called “eteinen” in Finnish it’s a bit dark in here because we only have this little lamp and it’s not attached
very well but we are moving out next Monday so does it really matter
come in come in but actually let’s start with this one the basic it’s called “kylpyhuone” which is the bathroom we have these tags around the home because my
boyfriend’s trying to learn some Finnish so if that helps when he walks around he
sees the Finnish words hopefully that helps him to learn it’s a very usual
normal tiny little bathroom with the heated rail thing I love this one the what else…liquorice soap, it smells quite nice and it’s always this tidy Do you recognize this city? It’s Madrid! and here, we come directly to the kitchen area and it’s actually super nice you might have seen the
kitchen even the video where I was talking about what I eat in a day, I was cooking dinner here and it’s super nice because he has this moving thingy
well it’s locked now but it does move if you want to and then everything that
you need in a kitchen two coffee machines because coffee oh yeah
I usually eat healthy but I did eat a pizza yesterday and I finished it this morning The fridge here, “jääkaappi” in Finnish if you want to learn, “ruoka” food in Finnish let’s see not a lot in here, I think we need to go and do the shopping today, not much to eat here, a bit of cucumber “Tortillas la Familia” the best tortillas in Finland The fruit bowl doesn’t look too tempting either, mostly bananas today, usually it’s always full like load of different type of fruits in Finland in
the wintertime not so much and now we come straight to
the dining room which is pretty much attached to the kitchen because we live in a small apartment so here it is for four people so perfect
size we’d need any much more space because I don’t cook I don’t
host dinner parties so if friends come over it’s more like breakfast
with a little champagne and then one more step and we entered the living room
it’s actually quite nice to have everything kind of in a same room it
makes it feel a bit bigger than what 45 square meters could feel like if it
was separate rooms so here it is it’s quite simple
my favorite spot in the whole apartment this is where I mostly edit my videos and just
look outside from the tiny windows though I can’t actually see much but it’s nice anyway,
perfect for reading we have more books but I already started
moving stuff because we are as I mentioned moving to a new place on Monday so
how does all this stuff ready and what else what do we have here huh it’s a
cool painting picture of London and this I’m not sure actually when this was done
but I think that the artist might have had a ability to see to the future
because can you see it’s kind of burning what I see in here is brexit let’s move on to the next part of the
dining room that I forgot to show you just earlier I love this one I actually got it from my sister thank you sister it is a “Scratch the world” map so
basically how it works is that when you visited a place you actually scratch it
and then you can see how many places you visited
there’s I dunno how many countries I’ve been to I think almost 30 so there’s
still a lot to do a lot to visit but I’ve been to a few places this one is
actually from my trip to Morocco it’s cool and this one is from Equatorial
Guinea it’s pretty cool and then the second room off the two rooms in this
house, bedroom so this is where the studying happens we have this really
cool, manual though, table that you can put up so that you don’t have to sit down when you
study, apparently it’s really bad for your health to be sitting down too many hours
and he also gives you a bit of exercise Oh while you’re okay I don’t actually
spend that much time here because I prefer to do my
you know editing or reading or working on my laptop on the chair that I just
showed you but this is where my boyfriend studies Finnish he’s almost fluent by now no more books again a bit less because I started packing we are super central in Helsinki which
is amazing because it takes like five minutes to walk to thee okay five
minutes maybe seven minutes to walk the railway station and you know is bang-on
central so you have all the restaurants in this area so I’m actually going to
miss it a little bit though the next place is nice as well and in the next
place that we’re moving to I actually bought the flat so I actually own the
flat that’s so cool like I haven’t owned an apartment for a while I did once and
I’ve been living in rental flats for the past you know almost ten years so it
will be cool to actually own your own place even though I will miss this place
a lot because I mean one more thing look at the size of the Wardrobe we don’t
have this in the next place but I guess it means that I just need to do some
renovation so yeah here it is I was meaning to do a video about my flat for
a while now but then I realized that I’m moving in a few days so I have to do it
now and sorry for not making and doing it in Spanish maybe if you’re lucky I’ll do subtitles a beautiful lamp but I think I’m going to…… we don’t have a TV because we don’t need a TV

Sorry for the crappy video quality, I haven't really figured out how the camera works in bad lighting (and our flat is pretty dark)… But how do you like our Helsinki apartment? It's small but very central – would you prioritise location or size? ?

WAIT! You have been living in flats for 10 years?!
Two logic options:
1. You lived for your own since 13.
2. You are an elf.
