Message from King’s Principal regarding Open House Postponement
Good afternoon everyone I’m reaching out to you today to provide you with an update on the COVID-19 situation. We made a decision to postpone the March Open House. We did this to ensure the health and safety of our visitors as well as those of us on campus, which is our top priority. The decision was made jointly by all post-secondary institutions in London. We had about 500 people registered for the Open House. Bringing in a large group of people from outside our community onto campus could have provided a potential health risk. I’d like to thank those students who submitted feedback and specifically some of you have asked whether or not we will switch to online delivery or cancel classes. At this time we are exploring options, however our classes continue to operate normally because London is considered at a low risk for COVID-19. Our working group continues to meet daily. I will continue to provide you with updates. I’d like to thank you again and please take care of yourselves take care of this place, and take care of each other.
