Getting shop visitors, but no sales? Here’s how to fix it

Are you getting traffic to your handmade store
but actually struggling to convert those visitors into sales and buying customers? This video is for you. First, let me tell you getting traffic to
your store is actually one of the hardest thing to do in online marketing, so congratulation,
you’ve got traffic. I know it’s a bit defeating when you’ve got
visits but no sales, but with a few simple tweaks, you should be able to convert those
visitors into paying customers. To turn your visitors into paying customers,
we need to increase your conversion rate. Let me give you an example. If you’re getting a hundred visits on one
particular product page each month, and you have a conversion rate of 2%, it means that
98% of those visitors, or 98 people, will leave your store without buying anything. And at the end of the month, you will make
two sales of this particular item. But if we switch to a 6% conversion rate,
it means that only 94% of those visitors are going to leave without buying anything, or
that you will be making six sales of this particular product. I know it doesn’t seem like it’s a big difference,
but it does add up. Because if, for example, this product was
$75 in the first case, the 2% conversion rate, you’re only making $150 a month from that
product. But if you can get your conversion rate up
to 6%, you’re making $450 a month from that particular product without increasing your
traffic. So how do we actually bring that conversion
rate up? Well, the first thing we need to look into
is the quality of your traffic. And by that I mean that if you’re bringing
traffic to your store that’s not relevant to your products, and if you’re showing your
products to the wrong people, then these people are never going to buy you’re products. To fix that, you need to go back to this essential
exercise which is your customer profile. I linked below the video to a free workbook
that you can download to help you really get it right. It’s important because once you’ve done this
exercise, you will be able pick the right keywords to attract the right type of customers,
the type that’s ready to click on the buy button to your handmade store. The second element we need to look into is
your product images, and that is the most important thing you can do online to get more
sales. The reason for that is simple. People can’t touch and can’t actually see
your products, and they’re buying according to what they see on the pictures. So you need to make sure that you’ve got really
high quality, professional looking images. Whether you want to do it yourself or invest
in a professional photographer is your decision, but make sure that you have bright pictures
that represent your products accurately with a plain background. It could be white or it could be colourful
depending on your branding. And maybe even include a few lifestyle shots
in there too, because that really helps your customers visualise the product and imagine
getting it and receiving it and using or wearing it. If you are not so sure about your picture,
or you just want to have someone else look at it, I recommend you join us in our free
Facebook community, the Tizzit Circle, and I’ll put a link below the video, and you can
share your images with us and we will look at them and give you constructive feedback
and tips and advice to make them better so that you can really improve that conversion
rate. We also want to be looking at your product
descriptions. In your product descriptions, we don’t want
to be focusing on the features. Instead, you want to talk about the end-benefits
of your product for your customer. So instead of saying, “This ring is adjustable,”
you could say, “This ring adjusts to fit comfortably on any finger.” The last element is your pricing strategy
and your prices. I know a lot of you feel that if you can sell
your product for cheaper, then you’re more likely to sell more of it. And in some way, that kind of makes sense,
but it’s not always how it works. Pricing should be a strategic decision, and
cheaper doesn’t always mean more sales. It’s about the branding and the perceived
value of your product in the eyes of your customers. Now if you’re selling on your own online store,
I have another video where I go more in-depth about the four key features that you should
have on your online store to really boost your sales. These features are strategic elements that
any online website, e-commerce shop, call it whatever you want, need to have to make
sure that you’re making the most out of your website and really optimising it for conversion. And if you liked this video, you’re going
to love, love, love the free resource library for makers and handmade shop owners over at
tizzit.co and I’ll put a link to this free resource library below the video as well. Don’t forget to like, share and comment on

Short and simple video. Thanks for sharing Deborah. A few years back, when I started my online journey, I wasted a lot of money trying different software and courses online. Then I got this – CBU course. As you all know, Clickbank is a very well-known platform for both vendors and affiliate marketers. Clickbank University has a solid online course with practical and handy tools. Follow this link for better results https://bit. ly/2G7j1tp
