GRIEVING FAMILY MEMBERS CHEATED OUT OF $70,000. THIS IS WYOMING CEMETERY. THE MAN IN CHARGE BEGAN A PLOT TO SELL CITY OWN PLOTS IN 2011.>>HE WOULD OFFER THAT THEY COULD BUY A PLOT INSTEAD OF DIRECTLY FROM THE CITY WHO HAD A NEXT HER PLOT OF THAT NATURE FOR A REDUCED PRICE. REPORTER: IN REALITY THE PLOTS WERE OWNED BY THE CITY. THE SCHEME CHEATED MELROSE RESIDENCE OUT OF SIGNIFICANT REVENUE.>>THE EXCESS WAS $70,000. REPORTER: IT COMPOUNDED THE STRESS OF GRIEVING FAMILY MEMBERS SEARCHING FOR A RESTING PLACE FOR LOVED ONES.>>SOMEONE ATTEMPTED TO USE ONE OF THE PLOTS OR BROUGHT AND A PLOT AND THEY COULD NOT RECONCILE THAT.
