$23 Airbnb BANGKOK Apartment Tour! ??

Morning guys We are in Bangkok So we arrived last night in our AirBnb apartment We are here for a few weeks Most of you know why we are here, I won’t go into that I thought as usual I would do an apartment tour and show you what we have found on AirBnb I just woke up man, leave me alone So as soon as you walk through the front door you’ve got a little kitchenette which is fine, it’s fully equipt. You’ve got some bowls, plates, pots and pans So that’s good. Then we have quite a nice bath room with plenty of space and the shower is decent as well then when you come out you have this very strange area with a sofa that well it looks at a wall and there through here it is like studio apartments we’ve got a really nice queen-size bed loads of room is actually super super comfortable you’ve got your essentials like you know you’ve got your aircon you’ve got your TV, you’ve got your fan there’s a lot of wardrobe space but I gotta say the best thing about this place is the view and the balcony very colorful I know it’s just a really nice view however you see this road you have to walk all the way to the end there to get to the main road so it’s kind of not very conveniently placed however the apartment normally have like a golf cart thing so they’ll drive you down for seven bhats each and down to the bottom of the road so that comes with it as well and you get charged like at the end of your stay all I’ve done so far do you watch just like one YouTube video since I’ve been here and that worked very well be left with speed test so I just a speed test we’ve got 16.4 one down and we got two up and let’s not forget the other facilities like the gym which has some cool machines in there if you’re into that kind of stuff and also there is a pool for you to use which is actually really nice and it has like tables and chairs and there’s a really nice area down there. The host for this AirBnB he is super good with their communication we haven’t met them yet because we only arrived last night but he left the keys for the apartment down with the security and they saw us coming in may like understood like they knew who we were and they you know let us in and we showed ourselves up that’s pretty smooth and easy okay so there is the mini Airbnb apartment tour this place is I think it’s 18 pounds which would be around 21 22 US dollars not sure but I’ll put all on the screen or in the title of the video and for you once i figure that out later on here we’re in bangkok for a couple of weeks and i’ll fill you in I’ve got some videos coming for you guys we’re having like a whole new chapter in our life coming up in three weeks time and we’re getting ready for that and working hard and excited about taking you along for the journey so I hope you enjoyed this a mini video and let me know down below where’s the best place you’ve ever stayed on Airbnb I’m genuinely interested in knowing because I love Airbnb I’ll see you in a few days bye-bye!!

I LOVE Airbnb, this is such a bargain. I didn't think Airbnb was that big in Thailand but obviously I was wrong, so I will definitely be looking into it when I travel to Thailand next year ๐Ÿ™‚

Split croatia, not because of the apartment itself but because the hosts were so amazing! We stayed with them a second time as well!

I was just wondering if you have ever had a really bad experience with airbnb? I personally haven't but I have heard of a few people that have. E.g has the accommodation been really different to how it was described, was it dirty or has the 'landlord' has been horrible / not turned up or not given you keys ect.. Just wondering as I want to start using airbnb more but have had bad reviews Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚

Best air bnb was in Marrakesh. Second best, Playa del Carmen Mexico. I swear by Airbnb. I've been using them for about 6 years or more-Before they were popular. Saved so much on accommodations. I'll be in Southeast Asia next year, looking to score some great bargains. Have a fantastic time there. Looking forward to your vids. You guys are fun to watch informative too. Thanks for doing it!

If I plan to travel in Thailand in June, should I prebook accommodation before going, or is there normally hotell rooms or hostel beds available?

The Best Airbnb place we ever stayed at was in Iceland… it was a 'double pyramid' house with a top of glass where we could watch aurora borealis from, and there was a hot tub, wich filled with warm ground water…. it was out in the middle of nowhere but we were there with our 2 kids and daughter in law, and rented a huge 4 wheeler – and we loved every minute of it…
When in Iceland you drive a lot, so you need to be prepared for that, but it's AMAZING…. I hope you get to go and see it for yourselves, even though it is not the cheapest place in the world to visit ๐Ÿ˜‰

Although I haven't stayed there yet (I am this July), I'm SO excited to stay at an AirBnb in Amsterdam. We are traveling Europe using solely AirBnb and this is our only private room. The hosts make you coffee and breakfast, and are supposedly the most charming and genuine people. It's a waterfront apartment and it looks beautiful (and the price was too!). ๐Ÿ™‚

Nice place! Was recently in Bangkok and man there are so many places to choose from now, and looking at the amount of new apartment complexes being built, can only see that increasing – although some complexes are banning short-stay rentals. Currently in Seoul where the apartments here, are rather more expensive.

I've been planning a trip to Thailand for next year and this just helped me out so much because I had no idea how much an Airbnb or hotel would cost there!
But the best one I've ever stayed at was at a villa in Canggu, Bali. Can't remember the name or the price of it, but it was mad cheap and only 3 minutes away from the beach and absolutely breathtaking!

The only time I used airbnb (so far) was in a little apartment in Nice France. It was the perfect size for us. The downside was that there were about a million stairs to go up or down to get to the main road to catch the bus. The views were incredible though! Totally worth it!

OH wow…do I have to pick just one? How about best three?

1) First would definitely be our first of three AirBnBs we stayed at in Thailand. It was located in Krungthep-Nothaburi 43, only about fifteen USD a night. It was sort of a small fenced in complex run by a super sweet couple. There were a few houses on the property, a canteen/kitchen, gorgeous pool area, and we had our own little cottage that included aircon, a beautiful bathroom, tv, big comfy bed, and mini fridge. It was absolutely amazing.

2) Second would be the small apartment we stayed for a week in Osaka. It was small, but had everything we needed, including washing machine. Super centrally located, too, right on the subway line.

3) Third would be the attic apartment we rented above a dentist office hahahaha. It was located on Jalan Maarof, such a comfortable, cozy apartment. Plenty of space, and it was so nice to sit on the steps outside and watch the thunderstorms.

Runner up is the huge house we stayed at on Navutu Rd in Siem Reap, Cambodia. It was enormous, and absolutely beautiful. We made some awesome friends there, too. One of the other renters(she lived there long term) actually taught yoga in the huge open area of the second floor. It was such an amazing experience.

I know I went on a bit, but AirBnB is absolutely incredible. Sure, it is a cheap way to travel, but making friends, living like a local, and really experiencing everyday life in that country is absolutely priceless.

have you ever had any problems with airbnb hosts not being there when they said they'll be? I'm always a little worried about that and that's why I usually choose hostels :/ but I would love to try airbnb more often

Ho let’s go!

Totally illegal in Thailand according to the Hotels and Condominium act. No shorts term stay are allowed in residential condominiums. No guests are allowed to use facilities without owner present according to the owners house rule. You will also like to be infringing your visa or permission to stay as your would be automatically registered by your hotel which will not be done by your host. There is a crackdown by police and immigration with penalties of 10000baht per night and closure of guest houses. Owners are being ask to report all suspect Airbnb short term renters. I for one will!! I am not paying maintenance fees for damages and overuse by holiday makers. If you cannot afford a hotel then don't travel, there are many price points. You enjoy your holiday at the price of owners and rightful resident misery. Why don't you learn the laws of the countries that you visit before posting. Airbnb flaunt laws that exists in many many countries and cities. Wake up Airbnb listen to the neighbours of your of your so called hosts, we cant even list a complaint, I hope you will be hearing from the Thai police soon. Although, I heard on a Thai news report that they even ignored a government complaint, saying it was up to there host to comply with regulations.. So the host and Airbnb customers are going to get hit hard. I will assist!!

That is magnificent. Last time I was in Bangkok (2010) I paid for a less-than-average room in an average hotel around US$40 per night. It was clean but small and hardly had any natural light in the room. No gym or pool. Those are luxuries. This apartment is a dream in comparison.
